The Clock Controller or the Timer

According to the conditions that were preset, the clock controller or the timer is responsible for activating and controlling the automatic sprinkler systems. These mechanisms are either clocks that come with digital readouts or electromechanical clocks. The former is among the more commonly used timer and is considered to be give accuracy than clock controllers that are electromechanical. Both kinds of controllers work in a similar manner. Each one permits you to program a cycle of watering that could be based on particular area to be watered, duration of watering, times and days.

Pipes

While the installation and connection of the watering pipes could be excellently done by an expert, it could also be possible to do it by yourself. A watering pipe is linked to the water service line. This particular pipe is referred to as the central water supply line. This pipe is almost always made of polyvinyl chloride or simply PVC pipe. This particular pipe transports water to the automatic sprinkler system's zone valves. These mechanisms permit water to flow originating from the bigger PVC pipe to the smaller, branching pipe lines and eventually out of the sprinkler heads. In effect, every zone valve functions as the door to a particular area or to a zone within the yard. In smaller yards however, all the systems for sprinklers have a number of zones that are controlled by the valve. The tiniest pipelines originate from the zone valves towards the very sprinkler system. Such pipes are created from a material known as polyethylene and are usually referred to as poly pipes. Attached to these poly pipes are the heads of the sprinkler by merely sliding them into the flanges that projects upwards. The heads of the sprinkler come in different spraying strength and sizes, although they are created to open up and pop up with the use of water pressure. Again, these are all managed by the clock timer.
